Michael D. Fielder, 36, of Avon, passed away, Friday, May 20, 2016.

Born in Springfield, MA, son of Jimmie J. and Josie (Garcia) Fielder of Avon, he was raised in PA and lived in Avon for the past six years.

Mike graduated from high school in Denver, CO and attended Eastern CT State University. Mike was formerly a member of the CT Air National Guard. He was employed as a barista at Starbucks in Avon the past few years and was a member of the young adult group at Valley Community Baptist Church, Avon.

Besides his parents, Mike leaves a brother Mark Fielder (Jana) of Oklahoma City, OK; three sisters Gina McDonald (Jeff) of Granby, Pamela Ford (David) New Canaan, and Melissa Edge (Brian) Avon; ten nieces and nephews Megan Gilmore, Rebecca Day, Jeffrey, Olivia, and Timothy McDonald, Evan and Shea Fielder, Lauren, Lily, and Logan Edge; 6 great nieces and nephews Calvin, Tristan, and Elouise Gilmore, Cameron, Hudson, and Kennedy McDonald; and several aunts uncles and cousins.

His family receive friends TUESDAY May 24, 2016 from 6-8 pm at the Carmon Funeral Home & Family Center, 301 Country Club Road, Avon. A Memorial Service in celebration of Mike's life will be held THURSDAY, May, 26, 2016, at 1 PM at the Valley Community Baptist Church, 590 West Avon Rd. Avon. Burial will be at the convenience of the family in West Avon Cemetery.
