BAILEY - (DeWITT) – Vickie (DeWitt) Bailey, 51, of London, died Saturday, Oct. 9, 2010, in the Kobacker House, Columbus.
Born Sept. 9, 1959, in Columbus, she was a daughter of Tom and Emma Lee (Knight) DeWitt.
Vickie had worked at the Assurant Insurance Company in Springfield.
Survivors include her son, Doug Bailey at home; her parents; Tom and Emma DeWitt of Newport; sisters Martha (Melvin) Badhand of South Dakota and Debra (Roger) Wilson of London; brother, Tom (Kristi) DeWitt Jr. of London; sisters, Cynthia DeWitt of Grove City, Melinda DeWitt of London, and Melanie Haytas of South Vienna: several nieces and nephews; and special friends Richard Zemore, Teri Zemore, Greg Zemore,, Rhonda (Dorn) Waddle and Jason Hess.
She was preceded in death by her husband James Bailey; and sister, Lori DeWitt.
Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 14, 2010 in the EBERLE-FISHER FUNERAL HOME AND CREMATORY, 103 N. Main St., London. Reverend Preston Lowe will be officiating. Interment will follow at Paint Memorial Cemetery in London. Friends may call at the funeral home from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Wednesday Oct. 13.
