She was born October 8, 1929 to Albert and Vinnie (Klinger) Strochecker. Lucille was preceded in death by her husband, Norman, after being married for 64 years.
She was a homemaker and beloved mother, grandmother, great grandmother, and great-great grandmother who enjoyed cooking and caring for her family. "Gram" will always be remembered for her kind heart and caring nature. She attended the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses in Elizabethville, PA where was a dedicated servant for the past 60 years.
Lucille is survived by four children, Norman L Maurer of Klingerstown, Barbra (Stephen) Scott of Herndon, Yvonne (Robin) Troutman of Elizabethville, and Kelly (Jerry) Hawkins of Savannah, GA, 13 grandchildren, 22 great grandchildren, 2 great-great grand children, six sisters Fae Wilkinson, Mabel Thomas, Patricia Kembel, Romaine Clough, Brenda Scheib, Glenda Klinger, and five brothers, Albert Strohecker Jr, Gene Strohecker, Dean Strohecker, Ken Strohecker, and David Strohecker.
She was preceded in death by her son, Don Maurer, two sisters Arlene Brown and Alma Bordner, and four brothers Marlin Klinger, Robert Strohecker, Lawrence Strohecker, and Mark Strohecker.
Memorial service celebrating her life will be held at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses in Elizabethville, Pa, June 12th at 3pm.
