Jessie Lee Haynes, Sr., age 81 of Joplin, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, May 25, 2016 at Joplin Health and Rehab. Jessie was born April 23, 1935 in Marshfield, Missouri to the late William Haynes and Mayola Smith Haynes. He owned and operated his own tree trimming service call "Don't Guess, Call Jess". On December 22, 1958, Jessie married Martha Johnson in Miami, Oklahoma. She survives of the home in Joplin. Additional survivors include four sons, Douglas Haynes and wife, Tina of Joplin, Jessie L. Haynes, Jr. and wife, Becky of Pittsburg, Kansas, Carl Haynes of Joplin and Jeffery Haynes and wife, Angel of Joplin; daughters, Barbara and Karen Haynes, both of Joplin; 12 grandchildren and numerous great grandchildren. Jessie is preceded in death by two brothers and three sisters. A memorial visitation is planned for Saturday, May 28 from 1-2:00 p.m. at Parker Mortuary. Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Parker Mortuary, Joplin, Missouri.
