Patricia A. Canada, 70, of Bedford, passed away on Thursday, April 16, 2015 at 11:03 AM at IU Health Methodist Hospital in Indianapolis, IN.

She was born June 13, 1944 in Bedford, IN, the daughter of Allard Sr. and Elva (Jaynes) Mears.

She was a homemaker and a member of Orleans Church of the Nazarene.

She is survived by her one son, James Canada Jr. of Dale, IN; three daughters, Linda Sue (Marvin) Bailey of Loogootee, IN, Jeanie Hampton of Bedford, Judy Hensley of Oolitic; one sister, Karen Cornett of Orleans; eight grandchildren; one great grandson, McColley Dobson.

She was preceded in death by her parents; one son, Michael Henderson Jr.; one daughter, Sara Kay Canada; several brothers and sisters.

The funeral will be on Monday, April 20, 2015 at 11:00 at the Orleans Church of the Nazarene in Orleans with Pastor Gerald Richardson officiating. Burial will follow in Fairview Cemetery, Orleans.

Friends are invited to visitation at the church on Sunday from 2:00 to 6:00 PM.
