MSgt. William "Bill" Beshore, Jr., USAF (Ret.), 90 of Butler, Missouri passed away May 26, 2016 at Breezy Meadows in Butler. Funeral services will be 11:00 AM Saturday, May 28, 2016 at Mullinax Funeral Home (660-679-0009) in Butler with Pastor Ron Dunlap officiating. Visitation will be prior to services from 10-11 AM at the funeral home. Interment will follow services in Oak Hill Cemetery, Butler. The family suggests contributions to House of Hound Animal Shelter in Butler, or the Butler Public Library. Messages for the family may be left at www.mullinaxfuneralhome.com. Bill was born July 26, 1925 in Blackwell, Oklahoma, son of William Sr. and Theresa (Kemper) Beshore. He attended Rich Hill High School where he played the trumpet in the marching band and later attended college at Fayette, Mo.He started his long military career as a bugler in the Missouri National Guard and from there he joined the United States Air Force. After 10 years he transferred to the active Air Force Reserve at Richards-Gebaur Air Force Base. Bill travelled all over the United States and overseas as a crew chief.In retirement Bill loved cutting wood on his farms and watching the corn and beans grow. He built and flew model planes, drawing many of his own plans.Bill was preceded in death by his parents, three brothers, and one grandson. He is survived by his wife, Martha Beshore of Butler; two sons: Michael Beshore and wife Michelle of Dallas, Texas; and Randy Beshore and wife Katie of Butler; four grandsons, and one great-granddaughter.
