Claudia Cooley, 88, of Garland, Texas, and formerly of Vian, Oklahoma, passed away March 30, 2016 in Garland. Claudia was a homemaker, taking great care of her husband Earnest and their children. She was a member of the Blackgum Baptist Church. Her hobbies included square dancing, crafting, and she also played spoons. Claudia was preceded in death by a son, Eddie Cooley; brothers, Milton Barr, and Leonard Barr. She was survived by husband, Earnest; sons, Carl and Raymond; daughters, Joyce McEachern, Janie Miller, and Martha Barr; nine grandchildren, and 12 great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews. Funeral services were held at Eastgate Funeral Home in Garland, on Sunday, April 3, 2016, at 12:00 p.m. Interment followed at Dallas-Fort Worth National Cemetery on Wednesday, April 6, 2016 at 2:30 p.m.
