Jane M. Caldwell, 96, died Thursday, January 6, in a local hospital. She was a member of the Second Baptist Church and lived in Hot Springs most of her life. Survivors include 3 sons, Jeff Caldwell of Hot Springs, George Caldwell of Cottonwood, Arizona, and Jerry Caldwell of El Monte, California; 6 daughters, Vivian Huchingson of Hot Springs, Clara Jenkins of Mesquite, Texas, Lela Adams of Bassett, Virginia, Pauline Strouss of Monroe, Michigan, Chris Mayo of Lafayette, Louisiana, and Edith Ladouceur of Temple City, California; 2 brothers, Edmond Merriott of Muscogee, Oklahoma and Ollie Merriott of San Antonio, Texas; 19 grandchildren and 26 great-grandchildren. Services will be 11 am Saturday in the Gross Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev Nick Garland, pastor of Second Baptist Church, officiating. Pallbearers will be Hugh Huchingson, Ronnie Manning, Roy Adams, Ellis Tillery, Don Tillery and Ray Tillery. Honorary pallbearers will be Dr. T. Hollis, Otis Cook, C. S.
