Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Friday, Aug. 29, 2014, at Glencoe-Hokes Bluff Chapel for Ricky Dennis Baker, 62, of Webster's Chapel, who passed away on August 26, 2014. The Rev. Kenneth Moses will Officiate. Burial will follow at Mountainview Cemetery in Webster's Chapel. Glencoe-Hokes Bluff Funeral Home & Cemetery is in charge of the services.
Mr. Baker was a Christian. He loved writing and playing gospel music as well as entertaining at retirement homes.
He was preceded in death by his father, Robert Baker; and nephew, Zach Baker.
He is survived by his wife, Patricia Flowers Baker; daughter, Trina Phillips; mother, Edna Baker; brothers, Richard "Randy" Baker and Huey Baker; sister, Reva Crumley; and several nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers will be Archie Rose, Jerry Clark, Micky Bragg, Tate Heuer, Chris Nation and Junior Maxwell.
Honorary pallbearer will be Larry Joe Ford.
