Lemoyne Doris Black, 99 of Edmond, OK, passed away on May 25, 2016. Lemoyne was born on March 3, 1917 in Blair, Oklahoma to Raymond and Genevieve Black. Lemoyne enjoyed reading and working crossword puzzles. She also enjoyed sewing, crocheting and playing cards. She enjoyed being pampered. She loved having her hair done and getting manicures and pedicures. She loved going to the horse races. Lemoyne liked to cook. She was known for her spaghetti. At Christmas she made fruit cake and candy and mailed it to all the relatives and friends. She enjoyed nice things.
She is survived by her nieces and nephews, Rodney Black and wife Karen, Larry Black and wife Jeannie, Ronnie Black, Raymond Black and wife Pat, Marian Smith, Glenna Santa Cruz and husband Oscar, Tim Black and Jennifer Black; and a host of other nieces, nephews and other loving family members and friends. She is preceded in death by her parents; siblings, JB, Harry, Paul, Robert, Pete, and Ray.
Graveside services are 10:00AM, Tuesday, May 31, 2016 at Resthaven Memory Gardens, Oklahoma City, OK. Services are under the direction of John M. Ireland & Son Funeral Home and Chapel, Moore, OK.
