Nicole A. Provencher, 43, resident of Greenville, N.H., died at her home with her loving family around her on Saturday, May 21, 2016, after a short but courageous battle with cancer. She was born on March 16, 1973, in Methuen, Mass., a daughter of Paul E. Provencher and Cassie L. Garon. Nicole was raised and educated in the Merrimack River Valley and graduated from Lawrence Vocational High School in 1991. She resided over those years in Lawrence, Methuen, Derry, N.H., and finally settled in Greenville, N.H., for the last 17 years with her wife, Kristy. She worked for many years in the manufacturing field, working for Hendrix Wire and Cable in Milford, N.H., and most recently for Teknor Apex in Lemonister, Mass. There wasn’t much that Nicole didn’t or wouldn’t do. She really enjoyed camping, any New England sports, kayaking, karaoke, zip lining, and most of all spending time with family and friends. In addition to her mother, Cassie, and her father, Paul, Nicole is survived by her loving wife, Kristy Powers of Greenville, N.H.; her brother, Eric Provencher of Antrim, N.H.; a stepsister, Shaundra Crowley of Andover, Mass.; her beloved niece, Kyla Provencher, also of Antrim, N.H.; and many aunts, uncles and cousins. In accordance with Nicole’s wishes, there will be no formal services held. Following cremation, there will be a Celebration of Life held in her memory with a date and time to be announced on our website. Arrangements are under the care and direction of the Cournoyer Funeral Home & Cremation Center, 33 River Street, Jaffrey, N.H.
