Chad Wayne Bailey was born in Alamogordo, N.M., August 22, 1974, to Connie and Ray Bailey. He passed away May 16, 2016, in Nogal, N.M.

Chad will be missed by so many. He had the funniest sense of humor that was unique to only him that was adored by all. He was always there for you to lend a helping hand, was the most amazing artist, loved nature, astronomy, taking his son Kade hunting, fishing and watching his son Jesse dance. When you were around him, he was always for debate, he'd make you laugh, give you a big ole bear hug, tell you a story or something new he had discovered as he was curious about life and the World.

Chad is survived by his wife, Robin, daughter, Alex, and sons, Kade and Jesse, his mother, Connie Bailey, his dad, Ray Bailey, his mother-in-law June McGowen, his sister Stacy Aberle and her husband Michael, his nephew, Dylan Muniz and his son, Eli, his niece, Jessica Muniz and her partner, Michael Merritt, and their children, Dominic and Maddox, his aunt Gloria Bailey, cousins, Nick Oberg and Shelly Brewster and Herb Muniz. He is also survived by a very special great aunt and uncle, Thelma and Charles Walker.

He was preceded in death by his daughter, Cheyenne, his grandfathers, Karl Patterson and Gilbert Bailey and grandmothers, Sara Jo Patterson and Lillian Bailey, and Aunt Bobby Jean Patterson, and the many friends and other relatives too numerous to mention.

Services will be held Tuesday, May 24, 2016, at 10 a.m., at the Alamogordo Funeral Home on First St. in Alamogordo, NM with Charles Walker officiating. Graveside service will then be held at 16 Springs Canyon Cemetery followed by a celebration of his life at 16 Springs Canyon Fire Department.
