Casey Lee Morris, son of Mark Morris and Darla (Stinson) Morris-Mitchell, was born on February 10, 1990 in Springfield, Missouri and departed this life suddenly on August 14, 2006 near Norwood, Missouri from injuries sustained in an automobile accident, at the age of 16 years.
Casey grew up in Wright County in the Hartville and Mtn. Grove areas asnd was a junior in Mtn. Grove High school, where he was involved in various school activiites. He enjoyed riding horses, traveling, chatting with his many friends on the internet, playing soccer, and canoeing. He liked getting together and spending time with his friends and family.
Casey was a loving son, brother, grandson, and friend who will be truly missed by his family and friends.
He was a member of the Calvary Temple Church near Mtn. Grove.
Casey was preceded in death by his great-grandparents, Prudence Brown, Boyd and Wilma Robertson, and Fred and Mary Morris.
He is survived by his father and step-mother, Mary and Loretta Morris of Mtn. Grove; his mother and step-father, Darla and Tommy Mitchell of Hartville, Missouir; one brother , Cory Stephen Morris of Mtn. Grove; one step-brother, Jacob Mitchell of Springfield, Missouri; two step-sisters, Jolena Mitchell of Hartville, Misouri and Stephanie Young of Marshfield, Missouri; his grandparents, Sharon Stinson of Mtn. Grove, Sonny and Shilah Morris of Mtn. Grove; a very close aunt, Kelley Stinson of Mtn. Grove; three sister-like cousins, Mandy, Jeni, & Brianna Stark all of Mtn. Grove, and a host of other family and friends.
