Frank owned and operated a corner grocery store and deli on 6th Street in South Philadelphia. He married Caroline Renzi, who lived nearby on Tree Street, and they had 4 sons. Big John, Frank Jr., (Chickie) Michael (Mickey) and Albert. Frank was a street-smart man who was born in Italy and came to this Country on the SS Madonna leaving Naples on December 20th, 1919. He was 17 when the Great Depression occurred and learned to survive like so many others. He was a loving family man and a good friend. He lived his life well and raised a fine family.
