Jean J. Brezinski, 84, of Whiting, IN passed away Tuesday, April 7,1998, at home.
Survivors include one daughter, Lorrie (Dave) Hardesty of Whiting; one brother, Sigmund Czerniak, of Cedar Lake; one sister, Vern Marek of Merrillville; three grandchildren, Douglas, Joseph and Kathleen Bogs, all of Whiting; one great grandchild, Brandon Bogs. Mrs. Brezinski was preceded in death by her husband, Frank, two sisters, Casey and Melitta, brothers, John, Ted and Marion.
Funeral services will be held Friday, April 10th, 1998, 10 a.m. from the Owens Funeral Home, Calumet Avenue and 119th Street, Whiting, with Father John Kalicky C.PP.S. officiating. Burial Holy Cross Cemetery, Calumet City. Friends may call at the funeral home Thursday from 2 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m.
Mrs. Brezinski was a retired teacher of the Archdiocese of Chicago with St. Bronislava School and St. Michaels, both of South Chicago. She was a member of St.John the Baptist Parish who will hold prayer services at 4 p.m. Thursday.
There will be a Memorial Service at St. John the Baptist Roman Catholic Church on Friday, April 17th, at 10 a.m. Mrs. Brezinski was a lifelong resident of the Calumet Region
