Funeral service will be held 1p.m. Wednesday, October 6, 2010 at the Swartz Funeral Home, 1225 West Hill Road, Pastor Scott Snyder and Pastor Don Chapin co-officiating.
Burial in Crestwood Cemetery. Visitation 4-7p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
Mildred was born in Finley, TN on May 7, 1915, daughter of the late Charles and Effie (Thedford) Holt and was a resident of Flint since 1936, coming from Tennessee.
On October 6, 1934 she married Earl G.
McClain in Finley, Tennessee. She was a member of South Baptist Church.
Surviving are sons, Tom of Florida, Frank and wife Linda of Rankin, Ted and wife Sheila of Grand Blanc; Daughter, Effie and husband Ron Alles of Flushing; 10 grandchildren, 3
great-grandchildren; Sister, Ruth Reed of Clare, MI; Several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband Earl Guy, daughter, Betty, son, Charles, baby son, sister, Kathleen Smith and brother, Ben Holt.
