"Kimball C. Black Ogden--Kimball C. Black 71, Ogden, died Thursday, 0ct. 16, 1980 at his home of a heart attack. Born June 29, 1909, Pacheco, Mexico, to Morley Larsen and Rachel Ann Lunt Black. married Carolyn Neilson, Sept. 17, 1937, Ogden, Later solemnized, Salt Lake LDS Temple. Worked as a carpenter at the McKay-Dee medical Center until he retired in 1974. Lived in Blanding until 1930, later living in Santa Maria, Calif. and in Ogden since 1944. Member, LDS Church. Former bishop of the Ogden 8th Ward. Former member of the Lorin Farr Stake high council. Presently an Ogden temple officiator. Survivors: widow, Ogden; three sons and one dughter, Kimball D., Lilburn, Ga.; Clyde N., Woodlands, Texas; Kirk D., Ogden; Mrs Robert (Margaret) Steuer, Salt Lake City; 18 grandchildren; brothers and sisters, Glendon, Cline, both Blanding; Kelly, Sparks, Nev., Gus Salem, Utah; Orin, LeGrand, Dall, all Murray; Mrs. Hyrum (Rita) Johnson, Santa Paula, Calif.; Mrs. D.D. (Carma) Billings, Brigham City; Mrs. T.R. (Darlene) Billings, Santa Barbara, Clif.; Rachel Hense, Blanding; Reva Kirby, Aberdeen, Idaho; Rene Metcaolf, San Diego, Calif. Funeral Monday 11 a.m. at the Lorin Farr Stake Center, 480 7th Street, Ogden. Friends may call at the Lindquist and Sons Mortuary Sunday 6-8 p.m. and Monday at the stake center, 10-11 a.m. Interment, Washington Heights Memorial Park.
