EAST NASSAU -- Robert C. Beaudoin, 51, of East Nassau, died Tuesday, October 24, 2006 at Albany Medical Center. At the time of his death Bob was employed as a supervising mechanic for NYS Department of Parks and Recreation at Thatcher State Park. He had 32 years of service with the state. He was a life member of the Nassau Sportsmen's Club, a member of the Nassau Pistol League, the Castleton Fish and Game Club, a photographer for Lebanon Valley Speedway and a former member of the Hoags Corners Fire Department where he held the rank of captain, vice president, safety officer and fire policeman. Bob is survived by his parents, Arthur and Janice Beaudoin of Philmont; his children, Robert A. Beaudoin and Jessica Hogle of East Nassau and Amy Prespare of Troy; a brother, Thomas Beaudoin of East Chatham; a sister, Patricia Beaudoin of Sacramento, Calif.; his former wife, Deborah Beaudoin of East Nassau; dear friend, Susan Salmon of Saratoga; and six grandchildren.
