He was a loving husband, father and grandfather. He loved working in his garden and growing vegetables which he shared with family, friends and neighbors. He also enjoyed taking care of his cows, deer and farm animals. He was a member of St. John Lutheran Church since 1972. He worked as a machinist for 45 years in the Houston area. He is survived by his loving wife of 52 years, Lucile Lorenz. He is also survived by his children, Cary Lorenz and wife, Pamela; David Lorenz and wife, Josephine; Darryl Lorenz and wife, Cynthia; and Gerald Lorenz. He is also survived by his grandchildren, James, Krystal, Austin and Abigail Lorenz. Ewald is also survived by his brother, Anton Lorenz, and his sisters, Leona Krakosky and Burneis Richter.
