He was the son of the late George and Charlotte Recard Livingston.
Mr. Livingston was a retired fuel truck driver from the former Schuchart Oil Company, now Shipley Oil. He was a member of the Chapel Hill Church of God, York Springs and a former member of the Carlisle White Circle and the Carlisle VFW Post 477. Shorty and his wife enjoyed the outdoors, especially camping.
He was the husband of Virginia A. Taylor Livingston and surviving, in addition to her, are four sons, Darrell N. of Harrisburg, Russell Samuel of East Berlin, Bryan K. of New Oxford, and Bradley F. of Gardners; four daughters, Sharon A. Cadwallader of Waldorf, Debra J. Gause of Patton, Jennifer M. Forbes of East Berlin, and Cassandra L. Bankert of Gettysburg; 17 grandchildren; one great-granddaughter; and one sister, Evelyn Goodling of Gardners.
He was preceded in death by three brothers, Clarence Crawford, David Brinkerhoff, and Guy Livingston.
