Robert "Bob" Preston Adams, age 87 of Clarksville, passed away Monday, May 23, 2016 at his home.

A Celebration of Life will be held 11 a.m., Thursday, May 26, 2016 at McReynolds-Nave & Larson with Dr. Larry Robertson and Rev. Terry Brown officiating. Entombment will be at Resthaven Memorial Gardens Mausoleum.

Visitation will be from 4-7 p.m. on Wednesday and from 10 a.m. until the hour of service on Thursday.

Robert was born on November 26, 1928 in Lebanon, TN, the son of the late Tom and Pauline Adams. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by son, Larry Adams and daughter, Cynthia Gayle Jaznach.

He was an Air Force Veteran and a member of Hilldale Baptist Church. Robert worked in retail sales and was an auto dealer for many years. He enjoyed furniture restoration and antiquing.

Survivors include his wife, Martha "Jane" Adams; daughter, Denese Rye; brother, James Adams; 2 sisters, Nancy and Carrie.
