Loy, Charles Robert, 72, of Porters Falls, West Virginia passed away May 23, 2016 at the Muskingham Skilled Nursing home in Beverly, Ohio.
Charles was born May 2, 1944 on Turkey Run in Wetzel County, West Virginia.
He was preceded in death by his daughter Darla Kay Loy. His mother and father Arch and Aletta (Long) Loy, A brother Harry Loy and one sister Gail Dulaney and brother-in-law Tom Dulaney.
He is survived by his wife of 55 years Wilda I. (Wright) Loy, Two sons: Chuck (Tracey) Loy and Bobby (Katie) Loy of Porters Falls, WV., One daughter Talisa (Rodney) Loy of New Martinsville , WV., and a special son Micheal (Melanie) Wright. Three brothers: Lawrence (Loretta) Loy of New Martinsville, WV., Mick (Fanny) Loy and Kenny (Linda) Loy of Alliance, Ohio, and a sister-in-law Barbara Loy.
He was loved by his grandchildren. Molly (Gary) Thompson, Scotty (Erica) Wade, Jessica (Jeremiah) Burch, Travis, Clay, and Kaci Loy. Brooklynn McCaslin, Hannah and Alaya McKelvey. Three great grandchildren: Madilyn Burch, Hattie Thompson, and soon to be Garrett Burch, and several nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews.
Bob was a Baptist by faith and a member of the Pine Grove Baptist Church of Reader, WV. Bob was a retired employee of the Ormet Rolling Mills in Hannibal, Ohio.
Family will receive friends on May 25, 2016 at Palmers Funeral Home, Pine Grove, WV. From 3:00-6:00pm. Interment will follow at the Knights of Pythias Cemetery, Hastings, WV. Online condolences may be expressed at palmerfuneral.com
