Barbara was the daughter of the late Lawrence and Mildred (Carr) Townsend.
Mrs. Pike was employed at Shaw Industries Plant # 52 and was a member of the Westside Church of God.
She is survived by her husband of thirty-six years, John M. Pike of the residence; sons and daughters-in-law, John M. and Beckey Pike Jr., Mark and Kim Pike all of Summerville, Tim and Misti Pike of Tellico Plains, Tenn.
Grandchildren, Faith Pike, T.J. Pike, Hope Pike and Mason Pike; sisters, Doris Warnack of Hurst, Texas, Emma Hillis of Savannah; brother, Kenneth Townsend of Chatsworth; mother-in-law, Hazel Hayes of Dalton; several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services was held on Wednesday, from the chapel of Ponders Funeral Home with the Rev. Mike Watkins officiating.
