Isaac Washington Hudson, Sr. was a pioneer of Pasco County. The town of Hudson honors him and his family who founded the town, which is located in the west part of Pasco county.
Isaac married Amanda Luverna Cobb (1831-1922) on Nov. 9, 1848, in Marion Co. Georgia. They were parents of 11 children, 9 of whom reached adulthood and married. They left Alabama in 1868 but did not settle into what would be Hudson until late 1877, early 1878.
