Lawrence Phillips
Lawrence (Arthur) Phillips, 74, of 2451 Lambert Dr., died Monday in his home. He was chief surveyor for the Lucas County sanitary engineers department for 22 years, retiring in 1969. Surviving are his wife, Mamie; daughters, Mrs. Evelyn Paul and Mrs. Geri Halpin; sons, Lawrence, Jr., and James, and sisters, Mrs. Myrtle Wilcox, Mrs. Alice Brown, Mrs. Hallie Cramer, and Mrs. Florence McGinn. Services will be Thursday at 11 a.m. in the Reeb Mortuary, where Barton Smith Lodge No. 513 F&AM services will be Wednesday at 7:30 p.m. The family requests that any tributes be in the form of contributions to the First Christian Church, Sylvania.
