She was the former Joy A. Hoagland, a retired Secretary for the Property Valuation Department for the Commonwealth of KY and a member of Audubon Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Bennett and Edna Hoagland; husband, James Dunn; daughter, Karen Oppel; brother, Allen Hoagland; and a grandson, Reggie Dunn.
She is survived by her son, James Allan Dunn; son-in-law Michael Oppel, Sr.; grandsons, Michael Oppel, Jr. and Daniel Oppel.
Her funeral service will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Embry-Bosse Funeral Home 2723 Preston Highway with burial in
Resthaven Memorial Park. Visitation will be from 6-8 Tuesday.
