Shelby was born August 30, 1983 in Springfield, the daughter of Robert Dean and Patricia Ann (Borntreger) Brown. She married Keith Edward Tate on September 19, 2008.
Shelby is survived by her husband, Keith; daughter, Aubrey Ann Tate of Sullivan; mother, Patricia Ann Brown of Sullivan; father, Robert Dean Brown of Tuscola; brother, Brandon (Kathy) Brown of Newman; sister, Misty Brown of Decatur; grandparents, Paul and Barbara Enlow of Chesterville and Clarence “Barney” and Linda Borntreger of Arthur; great-grandmother, Jo Ohm of Chesterville. She is also survived by 4 nephews and 4 nieces.
She was preceded in death by her great-grandfather, Harold “Shorty” Ohm; and cousin, Crystal Jackson
