Bowers Norman P. Bowers, age 81, of Westerville, OH, passed away May 18, 2016. Born January 11, 1935 in Columbus, OH.

He is preceded in death by his mother Malinda Bowers (Skidmore), his father Lowell Bowers, and brother James Bowers.

Norman is survived by his wife, Lucille (Sullwold) Bowers; sister, Betty (Paul) Carlisle; step-daughter, Nanci (Steven) Edgington; step-son, Marshall B. Ankrom III (Lori O'Malley); nephews, James (Jill) Bowers, John (Cindy) Carlisle, Paul Jr. (Scott) Carlisle, James (Penny) Cantleberry; nieces, Susie Peer, Carol (James) Sanchez and many great-nieces and great- nephews.

Norman was a graduate of New Albany High School, was a member of the Army National Guard and worked for 49 years as long-haul truck driver.

Friends may call at the MORELAND FUNERAL HOME, 55 E. Schrock Road, Westerville, OH on Monday, May 23 from 11 a.m.-1 p.m., where a service will follow at 1 p.m. Dr. David Hogg, officiating. Interment at Northlawn Memory Gardens. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the American Diabetes Association . or National Kidney Foundation .
