HOBART - Funeral for Ralph R. Hobbs, 82, Hobart, will be at 2 p.m. today at Hackney-Gish Chapel, Hobart.
Mr. Hobbs died Monday, Jan. 27, 2003, at a Hydro care center. Burial will be at Hobart Rose Cemetery.
He was born Dec. 24, 1920, in Hobart, to R.C. and Grace Patton Hobbs. He graduated from Hobart High School in 1939, and from Hobart Junior College in 1941. He married Bonnie Bostick on April 23, 1942 in Hobart.
Survivors include two grandsons: Pat Sherle and his wife, Christa, and Mike Sherle, all of Hobart; and two great-grandchildren: Creed and Bailey Sherle. He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife; and three daughters: Debra Hobbs, Patricia Hobbs and Nancy Sherle.
