He was a graduate of SMU, Southwestern School of Banking, and Pepperdine University. Allan worked for Mercantile Bank for 29 years. Allan was a charter member of the Board and Founder of Dallas Christian School. Allan served as a Deacon in the Church of Christ. He loved the Lord and became a serious student of the Bible.
He is survived by wife Marilyn, sister Jean Marie Norris, 3 daughters Paula, Cheryl, Donna, and grandson, Haydn. Allan also had 3 step-children, Cheryl, Steve, Andrea, and 9 step-grandchildren. ,
