Annie M. George, 87, a lifelong resident of Brockton, died March 6, 2015. Annie was the beloved daughter of the late John and Cora (Bibi) George. A graduate of Brockton High School, Annie worked for Victory Shoe and later for the City of Brockton in the tax collectors office, where she retired. Annie was an active member of Brocktons Council on Aging. She enjoyed bowling, bingo, and traveling and was a Red Sox and Patriots fan. She was generous by nature, contributing to numerous charitable organizations. Annie is survived by her beloved sister Julia Tasi and her husband Nick of Worcester and many cherished nieces and nephews, great-nieces and nephews, and great-great nephews. She is predeceased by her siblings Mary Dhimitri, Grace Anas, Peter George, and her longtime loving companion, Louis Nagle. All are welcome to calling hours Monday 4 - 8 p.m. in Waitt Funeral Chapel at Waitt Funeral Home, 850 North Main St., Brockton.
