Jim passed away due to drowning after falling into Douglas Lake from a float being pulled by a pontoon boat. He was on vacation and was not wearing a life vest. He knew how to swim, but had a cardiac event while in the water.
He is missed by his family every day, and I encourage everyone to wear a life vest because you never plan for these kinds of accidents.
