QUANAH — Bill D. Parker, 81, of Quanah died Friday, May 20, 2016, in Dallas.

Services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday in Church of Christ with Terry Allen, Larry Delong and Dr. Mike Parker officiating. Burial will follow in Quanah Memorial Park. Arrangements are by Smith Funeral Home of Quanah.

Mr. Parker was born July 28, 1934, in Olustee, Okla., to the late William Jennings Bryan and Mabel Bennie Scoggin Parker. He married Helen Wilkins on Feb. 12, 1955, in Gould, Okla.

Survivors include his wife, Helen Parker of Quanah; a son, Randel Parker of Quanah; three granddaughters; three great-grandchildren; and a brother, Dr. Mike Parker of Colorado Springs, Colo.

The family suggests memorials be to Church of Christ in Quanah or Quanah Alumni Association.
