Truman Gillette of Granby is 82 years old, and some four or five years ago his eyesight returned and he has since been able to read without glasses. He is infirm from rheumatism, but is a great reader of books and papers, and is now reading the Bible through for the fifth time within a year. He has read the Bible through in fourteen days and besides being a very rapid reader he is a very careful and retentive one.
