Vernon.He was a retired Airtex employee. Rites FridayFuneral Services will be 2 p.m. Friday from the Richardson Funeral Home in Wayne City, with Rev. Luther Windland officiating. Interment will be in Hopewell Cemetery north of Wayne City with military rites by the Anthony Wayne American Legion Post No. 176. Visitation at Richardson's will be after 6 p.m. Thursday (tonight).He was was born in in Wayne County Nov. 24, 1914, the son of W.A. (Dick) and Ada Miller White. On July 8, 1944, he was married to Edna Sons.Mr. White was a World War II Army veteran and a member of the Anthony Wayne American Legion Post No. 176 here.He was preceded in death by his parents, five brothers and one sister. Survivors are his wife; three daughters, xxxxxxxxxx; nine grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; and one sister, Pearl Richardson, of Princeton, Ind.
