Born in Cohoes June 2, 1916, Donald was a graduate of Mont Pleasant High School and a member of the Bellevue Reformed Church. He was employed at the General Electric prior to enlisting in the US Army. Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Cora B. Drummond;
a daughter, Miss Karen Lee Drummond; his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Harry B. Drummond, all of Schenectady; two sisters, Mrs. Peter Bombay Jr. of Latham and Miss Rita Drummond of Schenectady.
