ZaNiyah Renay Adams (Pookie) was born April 6, 2006, in Idabel to Erica LaJuan Adams and Lonta Hobbs, both of Clarksville, Texas. She passed away in Clarksville, Texas, on Oct. 15 at the age of six months and nine days.
She is survived by her parents, one brother, Deonte Hobbs, Ft. Worth, Texas; grandparents, Darren and Wendy (Adams) Roberts, Clarksville, Texas, Willard Earl Bee, Idabel, and Angela Perry and Lonnie Hobbs, both of Clarksville, Texas; great-grandmother, Minnie Adams, Tom; five aunts, LaWhitney Roberts and Kamria Hobbs, both of Clarksville, Texas, Alicia Clark, Austin, Texas, Monica Bee, Ft. Worth, Texas, and Keshia Richards, Lawton; six uncles, Edward Earl Adams, Lonnie Hobbs, Jr., Shamond Richardson and Jeremy Stafford, all of Clarksville, Texas, Olassie Hobbs, Ft. Worth, Texas, and Cedric Richards, Lawton.
Also surviving are eight great aunts, Linda Roberts, Anna Adams, and Kay Adams, all of Tom, Marie Bee, Valarie Bee and Kim-berly Bee, all of Idabel, and two paternal great aunts; twelve great uncles, Herman (Marlene) Adams, Idabel, Wayne (Rose) Adams, Guthrie, Horace (Irene) Adams, Tom, Jimmie (Pat) Williams, Ronnie (Dian) Williams, Charles Williams, and Courtney Roberts, all of Idabel, and five paternal great uncles; and a host of cousins and friends.
ZaNiyah was preceded in death by her great grandfather Horace Adams, Sr. and her great aunt, Minnie Adams Compton.
Services will be held Sunday, Oct. 22, 2006, at 2 p.m. at Nunley's Funeral Home, Idabel. Interment will follow at St. Luke's Cemetery, Tom.
