Paul Edward Sims, 86, went to be with his lord on May 17, 2016 surrounded by his loving wife and family at his home in San Antonio Texas.
Retired from the Army as a Sargent First Class after a 20 year distinguished career.
Paul was born in May of 1930 in Linwood, MS. to Eliga and Ruby Sims.
Paul was married in October of 1950 in Meridian, MS. to Daisy Jewel Crane.
Preceded in death by Father Eliga L Sims, Mother Ruby P McKinion and step Father Earl McKinion, Kelly and Altha Lewis (who provided a supportive and nurturing home during his childhood) all of MS.
Memorial service will be held at Sunset Funeral Home, 1701 Austin Highway, San Antonio, Texas 78218 at 9:00 AM Tuesday May 24, 2016.
Burial will follow at 10:30 AM at Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery with full military honors.
