Pauline Morris Collins was the daughter of the late Joe Morris and Janie Black Morris. She worked for the Atlantic-Western Railroad for 35 years before her retirement in 1983. She was active with the First Presbyterian Church in Sanford, Sanford Moose Lodge, The Veterans of Foreign Wars, The American Legion, Red Cross, The Democratic Party, and Meals on Wheels. She was married to George P. Collins. No children. Eight siblings: James W. Morris, Leland Morris, Neil Van Morris, Julian Morris, JD Morris, Jessie Morris, Sarah Morris Holt, and Carl Morris.
