Robert Mason, 78, Edon, died at 7:50 a.m. today, Sept. 3, 1994, at his residence following an extended illness. He was a retired farmer and formerly operated City Dry Cleaners in Toledo prior to moving to this area in 1961.
Born October 13, 1915, at Lincoln County, Kentucky, the son of Theodore and Amanda (Maxcy) Mason. He was married on July 3, 1937 in Lincoln County, Kentucky to Grace Seibert and she survives.
Robert attended Nettle Lake United Brethren Church. He was a World War II veteran of the United States Army, having served in Japan.
Survivors besides his wife are a son Marvin (Barbara) of Edon; a daughter, Mrs. Selinda Mason O'Dell of Litchfield, Michigan; a granddaughter; two sisters, Mary Jodry of Stryker and Nellie Johnson of Toledo; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by a grandson, Jesse Lee in 1970; four brothers and three sisters.
