J. B. Harper, died last night at Stephens, Ark., from the effects of a stroke of paralysis suffered ten days ago. His condition from the first was very serious and his family was summoned from Chickasha at once. He was visiting in Arkansas when the attack came and was apparently in the best of health at the time.
Mr. Harper was a brother-in-law of Dr. E. L. Dawson of this city and had been a resident here for the past three years. He was president of the Southwestern Wholesale House and was one of the prominent business men of the city. His wife and children, Miss Mary Harper, James Harper and Thomas Harper were at his bedside when death came. (Obituary submitted by Contributor Thomas Chambers.)
