Patricia Ann O’Pry, 84, a resident of Tallahassee, passed away Friday, May 20, 2016.

A daughter of the late Albert and Alma Gammel Carroll, she was born April 17, 1932, in Julia, Georgia. She was married to Julian R. O’Pry, Sr., of blessed memory. Also preceding her in death are her siblings, Albert, Jr. and Katie Lee.

A licensed practical nurse, she had resided in Tallahassee since 1964, having come from Jacksonville and was a member of Thomasville Road Baptist Church. She loved to dance, and enjoyed competitive ball room dancing. She loved to travel, especially with her friends. Most of all, she loved children, but most especially, babies.

Surviving her include her children, Julian R. “Rick” O’Pry, Jr., John A. O’Pry and Nancy O’Pry Gentry; grandchildren, Erin, Corey, Christopher, Sean, Katherine, Elizabeth (Biz), Shannon, Riley and Emmalynn; great-grandchildren, Hannah, Leah, Lydia, Kaylin and Austin; sister, Margaret Reid; and sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Carolyn and Rex Stutchman.

The funeral is 11:00 AM, Wednesday, May 25, 2016, at Abbey Funeral Home, with interment following at Tallahassee Memory Gardens.
