Paula Kay (Ainsworth) Dyke, age 64, went to be with the Lord on May 20, 2016, following her valiant struggle against cancer. Paula was born in San Diego, CA, to Knewel Arlandal Ainsworth, who preceded her in death, and wife Ruby Dell (Acker) Cerovski who resides in Midwest City. Paula is survived by William Harrison Dyke, her husband for 36 years; daughter, Kelli Jean (Dyke) Satnes and husband Adam of southwest Oklahoma City and grandchildren, Samuel, Liam, and Olivia; son, William Samuel Dyke of Norman; and son, Scott Dewayne Edwards of Midwest City and grandchildren, Jeremy and Brooke of Choctaw. She is also survived by her brother, Navy Captain (retired) Will Ainsworth and wife Jan of San Diego, CA, and nephew, David; sister, Carol Picket of Austin, TX, and nieces, Angie and Sunnie and nephew, Brian; brother Don Ainsworth and wife Diane of Santee, CA; and brothers-in-law, David Dyke and wife Patsy of Greenwood, SC, and Sam Dyke and wife Christine of Roswell, GA. Although Paula was preceded in death by her brothers, Philip Andrew Ainsworth and Jon Mark Ainsworth, she is survived by Jon’s children, Ryan, Ashley, and Matthew, and also was preceded in death by her brother-in-law Gene M. Dyke, she is survived by Gene’s widow, Gwyn of Dacula, GA, and their children, Mathew and Mathew’s son Samuel, Philip, and Rayna. Paula is also survived by many aunts, uncles, and cousins. Paula served as a civil service employee for approximately 15 years at Tinker Air Force Base where she excelled in supply and inventory systems and possessed a top secret security clearance. Paula briefly worked for Oklahoma’s Department of Human Services and also worked in the private sector attending to children and adults with developmental disabilities and managing their housing. Paula served as a substitute in the Mid-Del school system. Paula earned her Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Central Oklahoma and attended Midwest City High School. In 2015 Paula and her husband moved to southwest Oklahoma City to be near to their daughter after residing in Norman for 19 years, at which time they began attending Shekinah Fellowship Church. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Oklahoma City branch of Andrew Wommack Ministries’ Charis Bible College that trains people for ministry work, with an emphasis on divine healing; donations may be sent in care of Shekinah Fellowship Church where the college is located. Or donations can be made to the American Cancer Society.
