Dale E. "Pete" Peters, age 60 of Trenton, born September 7, 1955 in Highland, a son of the late Clemens and Gertrude, nee Schwierjohn, Peters, died Friday, May 20, 2016 at Barnes-Jewish Hospital in St. Louis.
In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by his mother-in-law, Grace, nee Deerhake, Weier.
Surviving is his wife, Susan, nee Weier, Peters of Trenton, whom he married December 20, 1974 at St. Boniface Catholic Church in Germantown; his children, Michelle (Kenneth) Vondrak of Neoga, Jacqueline Peters of Summerfield, and SrA Jonathan D. (Sayaka) Peters, USAF of Okinawa, Japan; 2 grandchildren, Cheyenne and Shaylee Vondrak; siblings, Bill (Kay) Peters of Aviston, Charlie (Denise) Peters of Highland, Donna Mertens of St. Louis, and Cindy (Eric) Netemeyer of Albers; his father-in-law, Edwin Weier of Germantown; sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law, Linda (Jim) Woosley of Flower Mound, TX, Steven (Jean) Weier of Belleville, Donald Weier of Muskego, WI, and Michael (Maureen) Weier of Greenwood, IN; and former sister-in-law, Kathleen Weier of Muskego, WI.
Pete attended Jackson Welding School in St. Louis and was a welder and shop foreman at Spaeth Welding in New Baden for 39 years. He was an avid hunt and also enjoyed fishing.
Funeral Services will be held Wednesday, May 25, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. at the Moss Funeral Home in Trenton with Deacon Charles Litteken officiating. Interment will follow in Trenton Cemetery.
Visitation will be Tuesday, May 24, 2016 from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. and again on Wednesday, May 25, 2016 from 9:00-11:00 a.m. at the Moss Funeral Home in Trenton.
Memorials may be made to the Siteman Cancer Treatment Center and will be received at the funeral home.
