Kathryn Louise Evans of Carrollton, KY and formerly of Williamstown, KY was born June 25, 1937 in Grant County, KY and died Saturday May 21, 2016 at the age of 78.
She was the daughter of the late Jimmie and Jewell Wainscott Burgess and a retired waitress in Williamstown area restaurants, as well as a former cashier at Pic-Pac grocery. In addition to her parents she was also preceded in death by her brother, Jimmie Larry Burgess.
Surviving is 1 daughter, Sandra Kay (Tim) Shuler of Williamstown; 1 son, Michael Ray Evans of Williamstown; 1 grandson, [name removed]; 2 great-grandchildren; and 1 sister, Geraldine Marksberry of Dry Ridge.
Funeral services will be 12:00 noon Tuesday, May 24, 2016 at the Elliston-Stanley Funeral Home, Williamstown, followed by burial in the Williamstown Cemetery. Visitation will 10:00-12:00 noon Tuesday at the funeral home.
Memorials are suggested to the Alzheimer’s Association.
