Beverly A. Berry, 84, of Boaz passed suddenly at her home on Thursday, May 19, 2016. She was born November 4, 1931 in Richland County, the daughter of John and Gail B. (Plank) Studnicka. Bev grew up on the family farm with her siblings. As a young woman, she worked for several families as a housekeeper and babysitter. Soon after taking a job at Advance Transformer, she wed Lyle K. Berry on June 8, 1968. Following her retirement from Advance she found work at Harvest Guest Home in Richland Center. Even after retiring from there, she returned weekly to socialize by playing cards, bingo and other activities with residents. Beverly enjoyed fishing and camping at the Mississippi, card playing, and crocheting. Her house cats kept her company and she enjoyed the outdoor cats as well. Beverly looked forward to country drives, visits with family and eating out with them. In recent years, Beverly was very proud of the remodeling and refurbishing she was able to accomplish in her home.

Survivors include her brothers and sisters:

Lucille Frawley of Soldiers Grove

Harold Studnicka of Richland Center

James (Mary) Studnicka of Richland Center

Joyce (Larry) Robinson of Muscoda

Lester (Nancy) Studnicka of Richland Center

Nieces and nephews, cousins and other relatives and friends.

Beverly was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Lyle December 24, 2012, three infant brothers, brother in law Norbert Frawley and sister in law JoEllen Studnicka.
