Mr. Higginbotham was a member of Cordova Church of God on the River Road. He was a veteran of World War II and retired from Hammond Lead Products in Hammond, Ind. and from the city of Cordova.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Laura Higginbotham; brother, C.J. Higginbotham; and sister, Carrie Jones.
He is survived by his sons, Arwine Higginbotham, and his wife, Louise, of Sipsey, Terrell Higginbotham, and his wife, Lenita, of the Pleasantfield community, and Paul Higginbotham, and his wife, Pat, of Parrish; daughter, Mary Higginbotham of Cordova; sister, Nita Nutter of Palos Heights, Ill.; 13 grandchildren; and a host of great-grandchildren.
