Ethel served as the secretary to the Principal of Moore High School.
She was a member of Okolona Christian Church and the church's Young At
Heart.
For many years, she served as a Girl Scott Leader.
She was born in Anchorage, Kentucky on October 22, 1919, the daughter
of the late Paul and Ruth Maddox Martin.
Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Ray E.
Pierce.
She is survived by her son, Steve, daughters, Donna and Sue,
five grandchildren, Karey , Jennifer, Jackie, Cindy and Becca;
seven great-grandchildren , special cousin, Mary Louise.
Funeral service at Ratterman and Sons, 3800 Bardstown Road, Louisville,
Kentucky with burial in Louisville Memorial Gardens East.
