Mrs. Callis was born December 21, 1927 in Mason Hall, Tennessee; the daughter of the late Seth and Annie Hundley Eddlemon. Mrs. Callis was a retired Food Service Manager with Dyer School, and Grocery Store Owner. Mrs. Callis is survived by four children, Barbara Kitchen and husband William, Pamela Flowers and husband Mike, Charles Callis and wife Cecelia, and Jimmy Callis and wife Donna; seven grandchildren, Brandon Bond, Kimberly Hall, Abby Callis, Stacey Webster, Susan Fernandez, Lindsey McCaig, Zeida Callis; and four great grandchildren, Hannah Webster, Avery Webster, Hudson Fernandez, George Fernandez. She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Grover Callis Jr.; three sisters, Wilda Nell Eddlemon, Mildred Hunt, Inos Dunagan; nine brothers, Floyd Eddlemon, Paris Eddlemon, Claude Eddlemon, Woodrow Eddlemon, G.W. Eddlemon, J.Y. Eddlemon, Ernerst Eddlemon, Robert Eddlemon, and Grady Eddlemon.
The family will receive friends from 9:30 a.m. until 11:30 a.m. on Monday, December 4, 2017 in the chapel of Karnes and Son Funeral Home in Dyer. Karnes & Son Funeral Home is honored to serve the family of Annie Lois Eddlemon Callis.
