Dolores D. Hill 76, of Tolland passed away peacefully on Friday, May 16th, 2014. The daughter of Flora Johnson, she was born in McComb, Mississippi. Dolores lived in Hartford for many years before moving to Tolland in 1982. She worked for the State of CT as a care worker for the Department of Developmental Services where she excelled and was loved by many of the clients. She retired after many years of service. Dolores married her lifelong partner of 52 years Eddie W. Hill and enjoyed wedded bliss. Beautiful, spicy, compassionate, giving, humorous are just some of the adjectives that can be used to describe her infectious spirit. Dolores loved, gave to many and celebrated her life. Celebration of her life will take place Friday, May 23rd at 12PM at Carmon Windsor Funeral Home, 807 Bloomfield Ave., Windsor with viewing hours from 11AM-12PM. Interment will be at Mount St. Benedict Cemetery, Bloomfield.
